Areas of specialty includes implant dentistry, TMD and Orofacial pain. He is also SMART certified and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Imam received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Nigeria in 1986, and practiced in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom, where he did his Oral & Maxillofacial Residency Training. Dr. Imam attended New York University College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1999. Since that time, he has continued to expand his knowledge and skills through continuing education courses. He also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU College of Dentistry for fifteen years (1999-2014).
Dr. Imam has over 30 plus years practicing dentistry and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of dental care utilizing state-of-the-art technology with an emphasis on Biological Dentistry. A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, he received two years of training in implant dentistry as well as two years of training in TMD and orofacial pain at NYU. It is in these three areas that Dr. Imam has a special interest. He is an accredited member of the IAOMT and is SMART certified.
In his free time, he likes to travel, watch movies and play tennis.
Our hygienist extraordinaire, Jake, has been with us for twenty-five (25) years. She enjoys working with patients on formulating a plan for prevention based on their unique needs. From a biologic dentistry perspective, a lot can be done to prevent and treat problems like gum disease. Patients appreciate Jake’s gentleness in care and her friendly attitude. Jake loves spending time with her two sons.
Connor started in our office in 2022 as part of our administrative team. Since then she has taken over the role of office manager. Connor enjoys being part of a team that helps patients feel comfortable and cared for while making their dental visits as smooth as possible. She especially enjoys working behind the scenes to keep the office organized and running efficiently so the team can focus on providing great care.
Hi, I’m Sue. I have been working as an Administrative Assistant for the past 2.5 years at MCDM, and I truly love what I do. One of my favorite things about my job is that I’m always learning something new, which keeps the work interesting and rewarding. I enjoy being part of a supportive team and helping keep things running smoothly each day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my daughters, and my grandchildren, who mean the world to me.
