Crowns & Bridges

Restore Strength, Function, and Confidence

Damage to teeth cannot always be repaired with a standard filling. When a tooth needs more support, we may recommend an inlay, onlay, or dental crown. These restorations are designed to replicate natural tooth structure as closely as possible while protecting the remaining tooth.

Crowns and bridges can help restore chewing ability, improve the appearance of your smile, and prevent additional damage. At the Maine Center for Dental Medicine, we focus on creating restorations that are strong, comfortable, and designed to look and feel natural.

Our Restorative Dental Options

When a tooth is damaged, weakened, or missing, the right restoration can make a major difference in your comfort, confidence, and long-term oral health. We offer several restorative options depending on the condition of your tooth and the level of support needed.

Onlays

Onlays are used when damage extends over one or more cusps of the tooth. They restore a larger portion of the tooth while preserving as much healthy natural structure as possible.

Inlays

Inlays are indirect fillings that are used when damage is too extensive for a standard filling but does not require a full crown. They are made in a dental lab or milled in-office and are bonded to the tooth for strength and durability.

Crowns

Dental crowns cover the entire visible surface of a damaged tooth. They can be made from a variety of materials and are designed to restore strength, shape, and appearance.

Bridges

Dental bridges are used to replace a missing tooth or teeth. A bridge is anchored to neighboring teeth and holds an artificial tooth in place, helping restore your bite and smile
